Carver

“The 39.81 sq. mile town of Carver was incorporated in 1790. The agricultural economy was based heavily on cranberries and in the 1940’s, Carver produced more cranberries than any town in the world. Today Carver’s cranberry bogs are still an important part of the town. Carver remains one of the few towns with a significant remaining agricultural component as cranberries have become a big national business.
